Our daily working procedures incorporate security in order to comply with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations.

• All materials are handled by University employees and stored on University property
• All entry points have locks and alarms
• Only authorized staff can enter the Fulfillment and Storage area
• Staff must complete a training program to attain authorization
• All others must show valid UM identification, sign in, and be escorted and monitored by an authorized staff member
• Customers designate who has access to their stored materials
