We Take the Security of Your Information Seriously

Safety and security of electronic data and hard copy are critical issues at Printing Services. Procedures are in place to ensure confidentiality.

• All materials are handled by University employees on University premises in compliance with University procedures and guidelines.

• Staff members have completed a training program in order to comply with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations.

• Staff members will sign a Statement of Confidentiality when necessary to process specific information.

• Uploaded files travel on the UniversityÕs backbone and remain within the UniversityÕs information technology environment.

• Password-protected methods or secure network encryption technology can be used during file uploading.

• Document spoilage is closely controlled and secure destruction for spoilage can be arranged.

• Our staff is prepared to address specific security needs.
